My 990's chain is now stretched really bad and although I have the adjusters set to the limit, the chain is still way too slack. I have a new chain, but I'm still waiting for the new sprockets. My old sprockets are not worn that bad, so here's the question:
We're going on a 200 - 300km ride tomorrow and although I know that it's not wise to fit a new chain onto used sprockets, or visa versa, will the new chain suffer anything worth mentioning over 300 km, if used on the old sprockets?
