Finally got my bike finished on Saturday and took it for a ride yesterday.
There was a bit of a head wind and I admit I was pulling her ear a bit doing about 150km/h on the clock .
At 191 km's on the odometer bike started spluttering and i changed over to reserve. Coming off a fuel injection bike I am used to much better consumption. Whilst I know I cannot compare it to a modern bike I expected a bit beter than this. I am not sure how big the reserve is but I assume about 2 liters .
Leaving call it 17 liters in the main tank that give a consumption of 11.2 km per liter or 8.9 liters to the 100.
Is this normal ? was I travelling to fast , what is the size of the reserve?
