OK guys - here goes
I plan to do a 5 day trip starting off in Pta on Thursday morning the 2nd [Johan Botha's bday (Carrot)] and getting back to Pta on Monday the 6th [Johan Botha's bday (Hondsekierie)] Looks like its going to be the weekend of the Bothas ImaPoser ImaPoser ImaPoser
Anyway................I have compiled a mapset for the trip based on around 500k's a day and 2 sleepovers.
2 Oct - Day 1 547km Pta to Bray
3 Oct - Day 2 509km Bray to Molopo
4 Oct - Day 3 Molopo
5 Oct - Day 4 487km Molopo to Vryburg
6 Oct - Day 5 476km Vryburg to Pta
The mapset is attached in Gdb file
If you want to join - feel free
Note that the route is 80% dirt which includes some (maybe a lot of) sand
The costs will include camping or a guest house between day 1 and 2 as well as day 4 and 5 and your own juice
I still have to finetune the route to provide adequate access to fuel and determine where we are going to sleep.
Any-one with recommendations are welcome to add their bit here.
