Yesterday morning on my way to work , I took my normal shortcut through the veld , and well , erm , I kind of woke up with a voice , Are you ok ?

I dont remember  riding over this old dried tree , but it was now jammed into the LH side of my bike and I was like 3m from my bike , out cold.

Embarrassing hey !

As a rule , I never ride over obstacles I can avoid , seems I must have .
The path cambers to the right , the branch jammed into my engine from the LH side , between my crash bars and my radiator and I suppose it must have looked like a Pole Vault going wrong.

I dont know how long I was out for , but the 6 or so people that were around me helped me pick up the bike and I , quickly started up and made my way to work , yes on the bike, with a 450 mm piece of wood still jammed in the bike.
My Daughter took me to the doc for a quick check up. Luckily just a fat elbow and a mild concussion.
