We are planning a ride for 9 and 10 June. The plan is as follows if you want to join:
Depart PTA / JHB early Saturday morning and make a B-Line on the N4 / N12 highways heading directly to Dullstroom. This is to make up some time for more relaxed real riding later in the day.
After a Breakfast in town and some time to warm up, we head out on gravel north east to Lydenburg. From there we head out south east through the Wonderkloof Nature Reserve to Sudwala Caves where we do a slight detour on the N4 before turning north.
Shortly after joining the R539 we take a detour through the forests eventually joining the R537 to head into Sabie
The evening we stay over at Sabie River Camp, https://www.sabierivercamp.co.za. There are options, take your tent and camp or rent one of their tents. We should be able to pick up something for a braai during the day or in town.
The next morning we head out north via Graskop to Burks Luck where we turn back west for a dirt run into Ohrigstad. From there it is tar on the R555 via Burgersfort and Steelpoort before turning south to head into Tonteldoos for breakfast. Then it is back onto the R555 and home via Middelburg and the N4 / N12.
