I have noticed a very slight surge when I am running above about 4,5RPM. It is very slight though - don't really notice it when it's windy (which is most days in CPT).
There was a mod on the airbox when i got the bike, and after CapeKLR warned me the bike might be running lean, i closed the hole up. This hasn't helped though as the little surge still pops up from time to time.
I have a standard exhaust, so nothing funny there.
Any other suggestions?
