Hallo to all the Dogs
25 August is my birthday again and like other years, I refuse to be at office. I normally take a nice, slow ride somewhere, meet people, camp in the veld and just chill.
I have done a few places now, but this year I want to do something different.
I need some ideas and suggestions please!
I would like to:
1. Ride to an interesting place. And yes; anything worth it will be interesting for me
2. Preferably within 1000 km from Johannesburg (there; another 1000km back). Not the biggest issue as I am hard-assed.
3. I am NOT fond of thick sand. Must still learn to ride it. And NOT during this trip please. I do not want to screw up my b day with a visit in hospital.
4. I ride alone. So; although I love remote sites, it must be of such a nature that there is at least one vehicle coming past in a day... ;D
5. Gravel/tar...no issue here. A mix will be good.
