Start a bike which has been standing:

I am trying to start an RX 125 Hyosung which has been standing for a long time. The carb was coated with yellow gunk, but I have cleaned it and it looks good. If I squirt some fuel down the carb it will run for 10 seconds, but not longer at any throttle opening. Can anyone help or tell me the carb adjustments. Where can I find a manual for this bike?
