I know this is an "adventure" bike forum, but I know some of you venture into or have
ventured into the superbike space, so this is just a 2 month project I did on my son's 2008
CBR1000.
He bought it about a year ago with very low mileage, but poor cosmetic condition.
The previous owner had binned it and replaced all plastics with an after-market kit.
Very poorly fitted and damaged from at least one tip over.
There was little repair work as such, so the work was limited to a full service, paint and
a few replacements parts.
Work was mostly weekends and a few days of my leave.
The colour and graphics were all my son's so dont shoot me if you dont like it.
