:lamer: OK, now that we've agreed to disagree about the current 800 offerings - the GS and the XC, lets move on to the 'sleeping Japs' ! Lets focus on good old Honda and Yamaha....
First of all I think that most will agree the 800class is here to stay - it seems to be the optimum size/power for a real practical DS bike! Lets also salute BMW for re-starting it after the Japs went to bed when discontinuing the old Africa Twin and Super Tenere! Both Honda and Yamaha has got the legendary names + experience +resources to probably better the current offerings without breaking a real sweat. But all we hear is rumours and more rumours, while BMW and Triumph is deservedly riding the profit-wave! Yes, the S10 is excellent and I'm sure the 1200 Crosstourer will also be just as great, but are they real practical+affordable DS bikes?
Come on Jappies, use what you already know and have, add your perfectionism and give us what we want, not what you think we need!!!
