I lost my topbox for the third time this past weekend on a gravel road and it is stuffed again !!!
The topbox costs around 5k like basically any other extra on a beemer... they have only one price.. 5k.
The previous 2 times I have lost my topbox was on a farm road with my laptop an camera in the topbox.
Again in October last year I lost it on the tar road between Duiwelskloof and Polokwane ( again containing my Laptop)
And this weekend it only contained my Offiroad helmet as i was on my way to Country Trax near Amersfoort.
BMW have replaced the topbox on 3 occasions and upgraded it to the latest design when they raplaced it the last time.
Have any of you had similar experiences with the standard GS topbox ?
What I can not understand is how BMW can manufacture a topbox for a DS bike that can not stay on the bike.
I give them a 11 out of 10 for the bike but I have to give them a 0 out of 10 for that stupid freekin topbox.
