Hi All. Thanks for accepting me. I am a total newbie to adventure riding and am really excited with that fact that I'm going to get cold, wet, dusty and more than likely muddy as hell. I taught myself to ride on a cruiser which was a nice little bike, but being an ex-horse rider I find the seating position and riding style of an adventure bike more to my liking.
I am a short woman standing at 5 ft 4 and am currently looking at a 2007 F650GS due to the seat height. Apparently this bike is a good starter biker for adventure riding, but I am not sure. If anybody can advise me on an adventure bike that might suit my height and obvious inexperience, I would greatly appreciate the advice.
