Ive been wanting to do this ride for a while and since we had decided to chaperon
our 16 year old daughter at Splashy Fen this year I thought it was a good opportunity
We trailered the bike up on Thursday and set a day for Sunday ride .
On looking at wheather report we left Saturday 6am at Sani Border around 7am
Top of black mountain 8am Sani pass has been leveled and widened at the top and is now a
complete breeze.

To tar at mohotlong left then 30 km to turn that says Katsi dam 40km along family road
past mission then up hill and take left split.

35 km of virtually unused road took us 2 hours solid riding arriving at main road between
Katsi and thaba seka fairly tired but relieved to be back in civilisation.

Road was difficult for most of 35 km most definitely Sarah says not pillion friendly .

From there back to sani and to splashy at 6pm 460km.

Little saw on Sunday no big deal bash plate took 5 or 6 new knocks.

This road is in the process of been repaired and will soon be a good short cut but for now
I would say not for the faint hearted and don't miss the left split at top of hill just after mission.
