Anybody have an old trickle charger they want to get rid of for a little money or a few beers?
I have got a smart charger (Benton BX1), but have found that if a battery gets too flat, the Benton does not "pick up" the battery when I connect it. It just goes to standby mode and does nothing.
My son does not ride his scooter often anymore and the battery (only about 1 year old) is flat. I want to charge it with a trickle charger for a few hours and then connect the smart charger to see if I can still get a bit of use out of the battery.
Because I have the smart charger and I do not know if my plan will work, I do not want to spend R400 on a new trickle charger or R1500 for the fancy-plenty step Ctek.
So, can anyone help?
