Maybe a really stupid question ... but what is supposed to happen when the SD card that came with the GPS (nuvi 720) is removed from the GPS unit and inserted into the SD slot in the computer. The card is a Garmap Africa series 2008 March Edition.
A folder appears called POI. When this folder is opened there's a file called poi.gpi My machine doesn't recognise GPI files. I've tried to download software to enable gpi files to be opened but without any luck.
What does this file contain ie. what would I see if it could be opened?
Any help appreciated.
