Grey Hound
Some details:
1. 41000km?s on the clock.
2. Currently registered in my name with a valid license.
3. Valid Roadworthy Certificate.
4. New Sprockets and chain
5. Rear tire has done about 4000k's and still looks good. (it's a KING and ok on dirt and dry but it SUCKs on tar when its wet!). Front tire is a TW52 and still ok as well.
6. Serviced about 3500k's ago ? oil and filter change about 1000 ago
7. New Rear brake pads
Done lots of long distance on him (mostly with a passenger) and he coped just fine. Can easily cruise at 120 the whole day and still give 18-20 k's / liter.
He?s ready to drive as is but if I had kept him I would have done the following:
1. Service the rear shock (re-gas and replace seal) - gas is pretty much gone and when loaded it's not gonna hold up on rough stuff.
2. Front could probably do with new fork oil.
3. All the brakes are good but the system could benefit from a bleed and the rear disk perhaps with a skim.
It?s a grey import but parts are available freely (same engine as the Yammie 660 Raptor Quad)
If you?re interested I can also throw in:
1. German (!) service manual (I also have a English copy of the Haynes)
2. Aluminium Hand protectors
