77 and still active. What a privilege  :thumleft:

Well done Jim, wish you many years of riding and freedom ahead.  :ricky:

I have a friend, now 90yrs old, who rode till he was 84, a BMW R100RT, he would still be riding if it wasn't for a debilitating case of shingles, since he had an eye operation. (PS: He still owns the bike and has aspirations to ride it again one day, never say die  8) )

Your generation are men of substance and grit, something I am afraid the world has very little left,  you inspire the rest of us  :thumleft:

Of course, from about 60 and up, one has to seriously adapt riding style and speed, etc.

One bad fall and you do not recover fully, if you survive, that is.

Jim, ride safe and take care.

Very True, I'm on my fifty second year in the saddle and have just decided to sell my K1100.
I'll stick with the F650, and stay on tar.

 :eek7: ...... Fok, I'm still a spring chicken at 47 years of riding!  :laughing4:

It's true that as we get older, we change our riding methods.  But as they say in the classics.... "never underestimate an old-timer in a world where men usually die young!"

Keep riding all you old bullets! :thumleft: :thumleft:

Very true ! I'm on 47 years and ride dirt only by exception, and then very slow. Breaking a leg or, worse, a hip now, can end my bike riding days. So, I leave the challenging riding to the younger generation
