So out of the blue I get a SMS this morning from www.paycity.co.za informing me that I have outstanding fines. WTF???
I never received any notification in the mail, but after registering on the PayCity website I'm listed as having 3 outstanding fines from July, all of which are for my bike.
The PayCity website shows zero information other than the reference number, date, license plate number and Municipality. Nothing about what the offence was or where it occurred. I cases where I can see what I did wrong and feel the fine is justified, I pay. However in this case the dates don't make sense and I'm reluctant to pay when I don't know what I did.
I have tried various websites but have had no luck getting any details.
What can I do to query these fines and get the details? And no I don't plan on just sticking my head in the ground and ignoring these.
