Hi Guys
I'm looking for a small bike for my girlfriend. She had an XT660R and it was a little heavy for her in the technical slow stuff.
I went and test rode a CRF250L today and man it blew my mind!! :drif: In sand it was so light and easy to handle, in the traffic it's a breeze and I was sitting at 110/120km/h on the freeway no problem. I reckon if it is run in nicely, I change the pipe and the filter it should pull quite a bit better. The dealer says I can expect about 200 - 250 km on a tank on the open road. The seat looks like I can get it padded a little better and I can get a little luggage rack made. and it's low enough for her and the suspension is awsome!
I do feel they are a little pricy though, sooooo....
My question is.....
Is it worth it?
What other bike should I concider in the class /range?
Can these motors handle to be ridden at 100-120km/h for extended periods of time?
Do they use oil?
What else should I know?
Thanks
