Race Dog
Hi,
Just saying, I got very little (f*k*l) mechanical knowledge but yet do a lot of solo trips (just my thing)
Recently I was stuck in sand, hand to throw bike on side to rotate and pick up out of the hole I dug.
Afterwards bike (GS Adventure LC) would not start again and was lucky enough to have someone come from George to take the bike in and replace the battery.
The bike could be jump started though (from his bakkie)
So had me thinking what would I do if this happen again when I'm along, without signal? (ps: I tried running the bike down a hill to push start, but it just kept locking the wheel)
Is there some small rechargeable thing one could ride around with for emergencies like this (OR...am I worried for nothing, that battery lasted 47,000 km)
Thoughts?
