Hi all.
Name is Des. Live in the Upper Highway area of Durban.
I rode quite a lot when younger, but have not had a bike in almost 20 years.
Work changed recently, and at the moment, I find myself working about 6km from home, so have thought that a small "commuter" might be in order. Well this idea has nearly resulted in divorce
but I have managed to work my way around that, and just found myself an old XT 200 for virtually no money. It's old, and a bit tired, but it is licenced and I'm going to use it to build a bit of a project with my son (10 years old), use as a fun way to get to work and hopefully it will "acclimatise" the wife to the idea that I'm riding a bike again.
I'll post a link here to my "restoration / repair" thread when I get that going.
