Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking into buying a second-hand 200-300cc Enduro bike. I want to build/improve my skills on local tracks and then potentially participate in fun rides and some Enduro races. As I don't live far from a local track (Zone 7 near CT), I'm thinking about just riding there and back. This would, however, require the bike to be road-legal. My question: What would be involved in roadworthying and registering an Enduro bike?  ???

What I've learned so far: Some bikes sell with a kit to make them road-legal (mirrors, horn, battery, licence plate holder ...?). Installation should be a DIY job. The bike would have to be taken for a roadworthy test and then registered. For the latter, the bike would have to be classified as not "offroad only" in the NATIS system.

Any further help would be appreciated. Please feel free to move the post if appropriate.

Cheers,

Stef@n
