Hi guys/girls.
Had a wanted thread in the for sale section looking for a 2 stroke mx bike and although no luck on the forum I found one in Langebaan so did the 300 km round trip to go check it out on Thursday.
It's a 2001 Yamaha YZ125 in goodish condition, but I absolutely love it and think it's a good start as a project bike, or very good start.
Need to rebuild the waterpump and do some research on some sort of epoxy to seal a plastic petrol tank. Somebody did a very dodgy fix at the top of the tank where the side plastics bolts too so it's leaking a bit of petrol with a full tank.
This little screamer is going to get a lot of love from my side.
Anyway here's a video of the second time I rode it. Still getting used to the bike so it's just going to get faster and better from here.
