Pontdrift crossing into Botswana

I am planning a new trip to Botswana and need some information regarding the Pontdrift border post and the crossing of the Limpopo with a DS bike to get to the dirt road on the Botswana side.
As anyone been there? What is it like and what to expect at the end of September?
