I recently bought a bash plate for my XRR from Richard. I have been hanging to get this thing fitted and take my bike for a ride to test it out. After a lifetime of waiting for it.... Well, ok... Only two short weeks!.. I went to collect it this morning from postnet.
I have just fitted it to my bike and I have to say, it really looks the part. It's 4.5mm ally and feels as tough as, yet nice and light. It's very well made and is a breeze to bolt on. Just the kind of accessory I like. No fiddling about or having to grind and file a bit here or there to make it sort of fit, it truly is a straight forward bolt on piece of kit.
So a huge thank you to Richard for a great product and having built it and delivered two weeks faster than you originally quoted. I look forward to thoroughly testing this out on Sunday on our ride out to Muden. I will let you lot know how it holds up in the rocks .
