FYI - I just had a call from Tracetec themselves to ask whether BMW informed me that the Tracetec unit is not required for insurance any more. I confirmed and the lady asked me whether I would like to continue the Tracetec subscription.

Any of you guys going to keep the Tracetec subscription?
