Trailer bikes to rally?

Went to BMW AG2007 and saw quite a few guys trailer their bikes in. Why have a bike if you are going to trailer it in. What are your views on this practice? Spoke to a guy from JHB and he said this was a favorite of the Harley guys??? :shock:
