What does it cost you to Service your bike..

Well just done a basic service on my bike and I think the British are being taken for a ride with price of spares..

Just take a look at what I have just paid for a basic service 

Oil £25 5L( R350 ) Fully Synthetic
Oil filter and O-Rings £8 ( R112 )
Plugs Iridium x4  £30 ( R420 )  Only change ever 3 services. Standard plugs x 4  cost £10 ( R140 ) but means I have to take off the tank and all the pipes, just easier only having to change them every 3 services..
Front Pads £14 a set x 2 both sides £28 ( R392 )
Rear pads  £14 a set  ( R196 )
Air Filter £14 ( R196 )

Did all my own servicing with a mates help ( he supplied the garage and beers  ;D ;D )

So that is a total of R1386   


What are you guys paying for basic servicing ?? I know most of you will only have 1 or 2 spark plugs but are you paying over R1000 ??
