So, I have been looking a bit at vintage BMW's..

I received 2 photo's from a guy in Mpumulanga for bikes that he has available. The first is apparently a R50 (with no papers)
The second which boggles my mind is apparently a R60/2. The first problem is, it is red.., the second is the carburettor looks really funny. Also the bike has some sort of cubbyhole on top of the tank. I searched the web for all the vintage R60 model BMW's and can't find any red one with a funny carburettor, more 'modern' back shocks and chromed mudguards like the one on the picture.
Also the guy says it says 649 cc's on the engine and all the R60 models I could find were 594cc's. So this could be a R65, but it doesn't look like one. (This one has papers) So what bike is this red one?
