Hi all,
Had Le Cap fit a set of Wilbers springs to my KLR on Friday and managed to grab a quick ride in the sand behind Parklands on Saturday. Now I am fairly new to dual sporting and very wet behind the ears when it comes to riding in sand but I cannot believe the difference the new springs make   .
The increase in stability and my confidence as a result of those springs is significant and I now have a better understanding of why some guys make off roading so look so effortless. So if you own a KLR and have aspirations of completing more technical rides fit some Wilbers - you won't be disappointed.
Also a big thanks to Le Cap for making time in his schedule to swap out the springs while I wait. Probably the most technically informative hour I have spent with anyone when it comes to bikes :thumleft:.
Safe riding,
Ian
