Preparing my GS for sale. Need to refresh the flat black finish on the side covers. Any suggestions as to a cleaner, polish or whatever?

2007 GS. The clutch switch adjustment screw (to allow the bike to start whilst in gear) takes a 2mm Allen key. Small Allen keys are bendy and the screw is tight. Have soaked screw all day with aerosol penetrating lube, but no joy. Any ideas?

I'm looking for a 'bigfoot' for my side stand. I need one in steel (preferably stainless but mild will do). At the very least the bottom plate must be steel. I've looked at the various vendors but they are either all aluminum or don't state the bottom plate material. Any guidance appreciated.
