Now yesterday I went to the shop and bought myself a new sprocket set and a DID 520 gold chain for the KLR
The wanted R700 for fitting it so I schemed ( just like charley ) that I'm gonna save myself this R700 Im not mechanically inclined ( only tool inclined )

Now the back sprocket was a piece of cake , the front still needs to be done ( I tried stuffing some wood in there to pin it down so I can loosen it but to no avail , the previous chain snapped so no can do for keeping it on there )
Once the new chain is on this shouldn't be too hard

Now for the chain , its too long , probably should be right ? Just remove a few links and rivet it back .
After going around the net I believe this should be what I need

Am I right ?
